The earth still needs supernatural agents and human representatives to spiritually inspire its conduct. (See Job 32:8; Isaiah 11:1–5; Ephesians 1:17.) Prophets intermediate earth’s transactions with God’s spiritual citizenry. Sin, sickness, disease, error, lies, lewdness, and unbelief, as well as death and darkness, are all standing reasons for prophets’ work in the world and protection in the local church. The world’s historical chronicles all cite primitive cultures’ beliefs in an invisible force of powers backing the physical creation. In ancient times, it was accepted that they controlled all its activities and events. Exodus 23:23, Exodus 32:34, Joshua 5:13, Daniel 10:21, and Revelation 22:16 all show the truth of that belief. I have dubbed this force God’s supernatural protocratics. As His spiritual powers of eternity, they see to the provisions He allocated to the earth.
