The following eight fields are the official areas of a prophet’s ministry to God and territory of service. From them, you will see how the boundaries, though geographic, will overlap in execution. The prophet’s work requires teamwork, and Christ’s community of the ministers for this reason should be diligent about assisting and supporting one another’s endeavors. Since prophets are very symbiotic, they need each other and actually thrive on their company members’ mantles. That is another reason why their classes of service should be clearly defined. The prophetic classes themselves designate the area of expertise, field of knowledge, and range of faculties a prophet has been equipped and groomed with for his or her service. These decide the territorial boundaries, prophetic groups, and prophetic assignments associated with a particular world of humanity. The elements of each class apply to the stationary and itinerant prophet. Furthermore, these eight classes are influenced by the prophet’s realm of service as well as his or her traits and talents. They refer to the realm of human life to which the prophet is most commonly assigned by God. The only way to get the most out of each group of prophets is to know where their highest concentration of activity lies. Prophets, like any other professional guild, are most effective in areas and situations where their gifts and equipment are best suited.
