Is knowledgeable enough to evaluate active prophetics, confirm emerging prophets, and train prophets for in-house use and/or church dispatch to other areas Is experienced enough to validate actuating prophetics and certify their authenticity Shows leadership potential that is harmonious with the existing and emerging church leadership and government Is able to diplomatically suggest prudent changes that better align the church with the kingdom of God Is able to provide safe and reliable counsel to pastor confidentially Is skillful and productive when interacting with and serving the membership without undue familiarity that could bias later prophetics Demonstrates an ability to be objective and to detach easily from the body to seek the Lord and remain credible with leadership

To talk about the prophet in the church and neglect the officer’s number-one opposition, the occult, is derelict. The main reason why people find it difficult to reconcile God’s need for the minister in contemporary times, and especially in the New Testament church, is because the reason God ordained prophets seems vague. As we have proven throughout this text, people often see prophets as mere vocalizers of future events. They see prophets as those who just speak God’s words for no apparent reason. Herein lies the church’s difficulty with prophets, a difficulty the Word and the spirits of darkness do not share. When thinking about the Lord’s use of the prophet, one must consider the backdrop against which the Lord presents the officer to His people. That is the first clue to why the Lord needs the prophet. Beginning with Abraham, also called a prophet in Scripture, God initiates His method of getting His Word and will into the earth and people’s hearts. He spoke to a prophet. God’s words empowered the man to do amazing things. In an unprecedented battle against the kings of the land, Abraham accomplished a monumental feat with the help of his God.
