Furthermore, during times of carnal relapse, the church prophet is the Holy Spirit’s goaded objector, staunchly opposing the slackening of biblically moral lines. He or she can turn agitator and resister to hold back the flows of libertinism masking itself as New Creation liberty. Invariably, church prophets whose allegiance is to God cast the first dissenting votes against anything that threatens to jeopardize their churches’ favorable status in the eyes of the Lord. In doing so, the nabiim institution of the local church can rally godly supporters for the pastor’s aims or blockade in prayer whatever seeks to harm, hinder, or reverse the work. The very presence of church prophets can invisibly corral subtle or lurking sin and thereby close the borders of a church’s sphere to protect its power link to Almighty God. The prophets’ diligence assures that the stream of priceless yet invisible treasures, coveted by darkness, is not diverted from God’s people. Prophets, as part of God’s spiritual surveillance networks, watch the landscape of the supernatural to report on and prevent demonic breakthroughs from occurring in their protective fences. They do on earth what the heavenly watchers of Daniel 4:23 and Zechariah 1:10 and 5:7 do in the spirit. Actually, the heavenly watcher reveals what church prophets must know to defend their posts, because mature prophets interact with God’s angels. Therefore, every prophet’s mantle is awakened by these supernatural counterparts. All bona fide prophets, without exception, are initiated by interactions with these powerful agents of God’s invisible creation. No prophet can be genuine without an irrepressible awareness of the spiritual guard that surrounds him to supernaturally see to God’s work and will on earth. The prophet’s presence alone validates the minister as he or she unavoidably speaks in all God’s worlds as casually as the one in which we dwell. Consequently, church or staff prophets should be perceptive enough to discern good from evil and thereby detect invaders who steal from their flocks. Seasoned prophets have broad intelligence on such matters and are able to identify the forces with or against them. They skillfully cooperate with or counter their maneuvers accordingly. For instance, church prophets spot and identify the problems with scripturally unfounded doctrine or nouveau worship forms that steer congregations away from God’s holiness. They bring the balance between praise and worship and solid Bible teaching. The devil can take a church off its emphasis on Christ by pumping up praise and singing to the point that, week after week, all the church does is sing and dance.
