1. THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT

Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. (Rev. 2:20) There are certain spirits that will attack congregations. Included in this list is Jezebel. Elijah warred against Jezebel. Elijah represents the prophetic anointing. God raised up Elijah during the time Jezebel was destroying the nation through idolatry and witchcraft. Jezebel will attempt to kill true prophets. The Jezebel spirit will always seek to destroy and hinder the development of the prophetic ministry in a church. Jezebel calls herself a prophetess. Jezebel is responsible for false prophetics. Jezebel operates through divination, control, manipulation, and domination. Jezebel is also responsible for false teaching and sexual impurity. Jezebel spirits have destroyed many congregations. Prophets are raised up to confront and stop Jezebel. Many leaders have fallen victim to Jezebel. Jezebel is a spirit. Jezebel was able to enter into Israel through marriage. Ahab married Jezebel. Marriage is a covenant. This marriage covenant gave Jezebel the legal right to enter Israel. She brought with her all her idolatry, witchcraft, and whoredom. Leaders must be very careful with whom they enter into covenant with. Wrong covenants can open the door for Jezebel. Prophets should pray for the leaders of the church. They
