enemy of God. We are God’s children and desire to live for Him. We stand for the principles of God to overtake the world and bring it to a victorious end. In that fact alone, the church is Satan’s archenemy, and we have been given power to subdue him (Gen. 1:28; Luke 10:19). We have a connection to God that makes us more powerful than anything the enemy may do to thwart the move of God on the earth. The devil is not the biggest threat or enemy of the church—ignorance is. He tries to keep us in the dark about how powerful we are and how strategic our connection with God is in relation to his schemes. He does everything he can to keep us blind to who we are because he fears us—both individually and collectively. He deceives us into believing that he has more power than he really does. Therefore, as He calls His commands and sets forth His decrees in the earth, He does so knowing how it will influence us. God knows how much of the battle we can bear and always provides a safe way of escape for us.
