U nclean S pirits According to Revelation 16:13, this spirit has a froglike characteristic and is directly associated with idolatry, witchcraft, and vileness. This spirit works in confederation with many other spirits and is often a doorkeeper in the lives of individuals and a gatekeeper in nations, cities, and communities, such as biblical Sodom and Gomorrah. An unclean spirit entangles itself with the very essence of the person who it possesses. It is a spirit that is not always easy to identify because of its intent to seduce, influence, and eventually possess an individual. However, if you carefully listen to the contents of the host’s conversations, or watch the lifestyle of the host, this spirit will eventu ally reveal itself through sexual innuendoes, lewd conversations, dress codes, behaviors, and filthy environments. This spirit undermines potential, taints and contaminates the anointing, displaces individuals, and dispossesses them of both their spiritual and natural rights. In my research, I discovered that many people in the Bible who were possessed by an unclean spirit suffered from convulsions. This spirit has the power of a total ruination of a person’s life because it attacks the mind, body, and spirit, corroding the foundation of moral and ethical living. Because of the nature of this spirit, very few people who live a life plagued by this spirit, whether male or female, live out half their life expec tancy with a good quality of life. They generally die, martyred by their own lusts. According to Mark 1:21–26, the propensities of this spirit is to twist and pervert the very nature of its host and will be at its most violent and vile state as soon as there is a determination that its victim desires conversion and to serve God.
