Reconnaissance

S pirit of P ride Pride’s origin comes from the very heart of Satan. In a way, it can be said that Satan himself spawned this spirit. Pride is an inflated perception of one’s own dignity and self-worth. When pride manifests itself, it often manifests as arrogance, disdainful conduct or treatment, haughtiness, and even false humility. Pride is a protector of “self.” It does not betray or expose self. It is obsessed with self.

Scriptural reference for the spirit of pride Proverbs 16:18; Ezekiel 28:13–19
