And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. —Luke 13:11–13 The following are simple principles to follow: Establish your legal rights and authority in Christ Jesus. Use the name of Jesus (never assume you have power in and of yourself). Determine the strongman and subordinate spirits. Bind their works, and make them a part of the footstool of Jesus. Remind demonic spirits that they must comply because Jesus came to “destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). Loose every sign, symptom, and condition associated with their presence. Release the kingdom of heaven counterpart. Reinforce your prayer life with fasting. Remain submitted to the Spirit of the Lord. Resist the devil, and he will flee. Use the Word of the Lord. Do not allow any strongholds to remain. Declare and decree that all materials used to construct the strongholds are now demolished and utterly destroyed. Ask the Holy Spirit to demolish strongholds and to sweep all residue away. Close doors and establish God as the new doorkeeper and gatekeeper. Pray that God becomes the new doorkeeper and gatekeeper of your city, country, nation, personage, family, and ministry. The Bible declares that the power of our words affect change in our lives, homes, environment, communities, cities, and nations.
