him. And he said, Thus saith the Lord, Make this valley full of ditches. For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts. And this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand. And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.” T he G ood F ight As the enemy wages war against you, remember that you are fighting the good fight of faith . Your concentration should not merely rest upon what happens to you, but also upon what is happening in you and your response to what happens to you. But don’t give up, and don’t give in. We not only prevail; we also overcome every attack. Remember, the flip side of victory is warfare, and the flip side of warfare is victory. Either way, you win. So, my brothers and sisters, “Gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end” (1 Pet. 1:13). Do not give up in this battle, and do not let the enemy wear you down. Remain “stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Cor. 15:58). Now we move on to the strategies and tactics of how we can effectively use the weapons we just uncovered.
