The Rules of Engagement
Y our A rsenal If a military is going to win a war, there are three important questions that must be answered:
1. 2. 3.
Who is the enemy? Where is the battle? What are your weapons?
The answer to the first question is obvious. The enemy is Satan and his cohorts, as we discussed in chapter 5. Since the rebellion of Satan and one-third of the angels, this world has been in combat against demonic forces. Having elaborately established an insidious military spiritual force, Satan continues to fulfill his mission: to steal, kill, and destroy all that belongs to God and is godly. It is a two-way communi cation system, whereby you communicate with God and God communicates with you. If we become weak during the battle, prayer links us in to God’s strength, especially when we pray in the spirit. Prayer is also the surest way to receive God’s instructions and commands and to lean upon His infinite
