Counterattacking the Weapons of the Enemy

Firebrands counterattack Pray according to this passage of Scripture: “And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah” (Isa. 7:4). Friendly fire counterattack Ask God to enable you to accurately discern the spirits of man. Bind all illegal activities concerning your life. Decree and declare that a prayer shield, the anointing, and the bloodline form a hedge of protection that hides you from familiar spirits and all other demonic personalities, making it difficult if not impossible for them to effectively track or trace you in the realm of the Spirit. There shall be no perforations or penetrations. (See Exodus 12:13; Job 1:7–10; Psalm 91.) Frustration counterattack Release the spirit of Nehemiah upon you. Declare and decree success and progress in Jesus’s name. Generational curses counterattack Break generational curses in Jesus’s name. Live a life of obedience. “There fore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Cor. 5:17). Guilt counterattack Determine to take personal responsibility for recognizing your shortcom ings. Ask God for forgiveness, forgive yourself, and make reparations where necessary. Habits counterattack Practice self-discipline. Enlist the support of family and friends by sharing with them. This one act of public accountability will make it more difficult to back out or compromise. Enlist a partner when possible. Ecclesiastes 4:9 states, “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” Focus on the end reward and have fun. It is so much easier to form Gossip counterattack Pray according to Psalm 3 and Psalm 19:14.
