Counterattacking the Weapons of the Enemy

Enmeshments counterattack Break soul ties, psychological and emotional attachments, and strongholds. Renounce codependency, and declare that all present and future relationships are healthy, mutually beneficial, and interdependent. Entanglements counterattack Destroy entanglements. Decree and declare that Jehovah gives you the strength and courage to break free of every entanglement. “Stand fast there fore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage” (Gal. 5:1). Ethnicities counterattack “With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Eph. 4:2–6). “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:28). Eventualities counterattack Decree and declare that God and God alone holds the key to your future: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” (Jer. 29:11, niv). False burdens counterattack Pray this verse from Isaiah: “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing” (Isa. 10:27). (See also Isaiah 9:4.) False entitlement counterattack Bind the spirit of Belial. Decree and declare that you will not lose anything God has given to you in Jesus’s name. Ask God to release angels to marshal and protect the boundaries and borders of all physical, spiritual, and intellec tual properties and all your possessions. Build a hedge of protection around yourself and everything and everyone associated with you in Jesus’s name.
