Counterattacking the Weapons of the Enemy

Complacency counterattack Ask God to grant you an alertness of mind, zeal, and an urgency of spirit. Pray the following: “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is” (Eph. 5:15–17). Compromise counterattack Bind the compromising spirit. Super impose the spirits of conviction, excel lence, and resolve. Condemnation counterattack “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:17). “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36). Confederates counterattack Decree and declare that God will confuse the communications of every satanically orchestrated confederation and disperse their gatherings. Pray the prayers in chapter 3. Contaminated anointing counterattack Decree and declare a fresh supply of the uncontaminated anointing. Ask God to sanctify your soul and spirit according to Titus 3:5 by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Covert operations counterattack Ask God to expose, destroy, and dismantle every diabolical covert opera tion. Let the destroying winds of the Spirit blow in judgment against every work of darkness in Jesus’s name. Declare and decree Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” Covetousness counterattack Pray the following verses: “The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever” (Ps. 22:26); “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content” (Phil. 4:11).
