Bitterness counterattack Choose to let go and forgive. Ask God to remove the root of bitterness from you and to allow His grace to permeate your mind, soul, and emotions. Blind spots counterattack Ask God to reveal to you the truth about yourself and to deliver you from any attitude, behavior, or action that hinders healthy interactions with others. Ask God to remove all spiritual blindness and veils so that you truly can live a life of personal integrity and authenticity of self in Jesus’s name. Cares of the world counterattack Read Colossians 2:20–21: “Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not)?” Then read Matthew 6:33: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Carnality counterattack “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Gal. 5:16). Celestial barricades counterattack Use a combination of prayer and fasting. Reinforce your prayer efforts by engaging in the prayer of agreement. Ask God to send divine angelic assis tance to remove all hindrances and barriers in Jesus’s name. Chains/fetters/shackles counterattack “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord” (Ps. 149:6–9). Bondages counterattack Pray according to Isaiah 61:1–3.
