Counterattacking the Weapons of the Enemy

Addictions counterattack Decree and declare that according to 1 Corinthians 6:19, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Break the stronghold of addiction. Ask God to remove the appetite for the thing or person. Establish God as the gatekeeper and doorkeeper of your soul. Ask God to bring healing and reconciliation to every person negatively affected by your addiction. Renounce future activi ties with anything or anyone associated with addictive activities. Ask God to eclipse the addiction with purpose. War in the spirit, and decree and declare that all diabolical strongholds are destroyed and spirits of inheritances are severed and prohibited from influencing any future activities. Adultery counterattack The first step toward resolution and healing is naming it for what it is, acknowledging that it happened rather than pretending it did not in the hope that it and the feelings associated with it would just go away. The act of adul tery needs to be admitted rather than rationalized or defended. Next, the feelings need to be expressed, not explained, by both parties. There may be fear, anger, hurt, sadness, and grief, or even rage. Petition the Lord to help you to forgive and to empower you to move on in love. Break and renounce sexual soul ties. Ask for forgiveness. Ask God to restore commitment to cove nant. Build a hedge of protection around your mind and body. Fast and pray for the desire for the other individual to be broken. Ask God to purify the mind by the blood, the Word, and the Spirit. Adversity counterattack Quote Isaiah 59:19, and ask God to give you a strong support system to encourage and gird you up during times of adversity according to Proverbs 17:17. Afflictions counterattack Quote Psalm 34:19, and ask God for divine intervention. Declare and decree that you are protected by Jehovah-Gibbor, Jehovah-Nissi, and Jehovah-Rapha. Continue to build prayer shields, fire walls, and prayer hedges around yourself and your loved ones, ministry, and business. Pray the prayers from chapter 3.
