I nterference This is a satanic act or instance of hindering, impeding, or obstructing God’s work and the fulfillment of destiny and purpose. (See Ezra 4:1–6.) I nvincible O bstructions Since perception is everything Satan will attempt to affect our perception of what is and what is not possible. He will create a mountain out of a molehill, even though he knows that with God, nothing is impossible. In one instance, the enemy convinced an entire nation that it was not possible to overcome or defeat their obstruction. However, through the power of Jehovah-Gibbor, David overcame Goliath, the “invincible” obstruction of the nation of Israel. (See 1 Samuel 17:22–27, 40–51.) I nvisible B arriers Invisible barriers can be emotional, psychological, spiritual, financial, racial, social, national, regional, global, parochial, or political in nature. The story of Simon the sorcerer demonstrates two categories under which these weapons function. (See Acts 8:5–25.)

Extrinsic: Satan skillfully uses a variety of external forces to obstruct, delay, and frustrate the plans and purpose of God. Examples of these forces are cultural limitations, traditions, political legislation, religious practices, social rituals, witch craft, economic oppression, and miseducation. Intrinsic: Satan also uses a variety of internal forces, emotions, and attitudes. Examples include fear, doubt, habits, iniquities, prejudices, perceptions, attitudes, ignorance, pride, self-deception, and codependence. I rritations
