CHAPTER EIGHT 8. Turning Water Into Wine His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. St. John 2:5 Jesus' mother is putting a demand upon Him. If there is anyone who can put a demand upon you, it is your mother. Your mother can make you do it when no one else can. And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. John 2:6-7 This is what the Lord has been doing. This whole miracle is prophetic. The Lord said to fill up the waterpots with water. What does water represent in the Word of God? It represents the Word, the cleansing of the Word. The waterpots represent earthen vessels. He has been filling us with the Word. We have more Word now than we ever had. We have Word on intercession, spiritual authority, prophesying, binding and loosing in the name of Jesus, healing, deliverance, praise and worship. We have read every book, we have listened to every tape, we are full of the Word now. And he saith upon them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
