CHAPTER SIX 6. The Glory of the Lord

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord. II Corinthians 3:17,18 It is the glory of God that will change you into the image of Jesus Christ. There is no way you can come into contact with the glory of God and not be affected with a positive change. Most people have not yet really come into contact with the glory of God, even though they are hearing the Scriptures. I know this because people can regularly attend church year after year, hear the word, go through all the religious motions, and yet never seem to change into the image of Jesus Christ. The glory of God has not manifested in a lot of churches. They don't have the unction and the anointing of God, no matter how much people want to change. People can pray, read their Bible, and still never experience the change that God desires, until they come into contact with the glory of God. The Scripture says, "We are changed into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord." We must have the glory of God in our services in order to experience change. You may ask, "What is the glory of God?" The glory of God is the tangible, manifested, presence of God. You may say, "What do you mean by that?" Most people have knowledge of God being omnipresent; people realize that God is everywhere. God is present whether you feel Him or not. The Bible says the
