CONCLUDING THOUGHTS After many years of full time ministry, I have discovered an important key connected to receiving from the Lord. All truth must be processed through the intellect, where we reason and weigh the evidence we receive: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord...” Isaiah 1:18 Yet, for spiritual truth to impact your life, it must be quickened to your inner spirit. As the psalmist once said: “Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.” Psalms 119:49-50 The word quicken means to make alive.
