That’s why mountains don’t move in our lives. Mentally or con sciously, we say, “Go.” However, the matter isn’t truly settled within us. Our belief has to go deeper. Y OU DON ’ T REALLY BELIEVE SOMETHING UNTIL IT GETS INTO YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND . The beliefs and convictions of a leader regulate the nature of his leadership. You don’t really believe something until it gets into your subconscious mind. Most of us can’t break certain habits because we don’t have the right thoughts and attitudes that will enable us to change. Your convictions determine what is stored in your heart, and your heart is the container of your attitudes. It’s the bank you draw from that determines the way you live your life. IDENTIFYING THE HEART Your heart is the chamber that holds your convictions about all aspects of life. Your convictions are your beliefs, and your beliefs generally originate from what you keep hearing and believe to be truth. The heart is where all of what you have learned and repeatedly heard during your life is stored. It is also where all of your culture is assimilated into your psyche. It’s the vantage point from which you view the world. Your heart is the seat of your beliefs. It is the center of your philosophy, the container of the ideas that you have accepted as truth. Because, for the most part, the heart stores what you truly believe, and your attitudes and actions are based on
