CHAPTER FOUR The Spirit of Leadership True leadership is not a method, a technique, or a science but an attitude. B y now we understand that the leadership spirit refers to the inherent spirit of mankind that pos sesses the natural qualities and characteristics of the Creator. Every human being possesses this spirit, but very few ever discover this truth and fewer still are aware it can be manifested. Having the leadership spirit means that you are natu rally created to lead. However, the spirit of leadership is essentially different in that it refers to the attitudes, men tality, and mind-set necessary for the leadership spirit to be manifested. Without the spirit of leadership, the lead ership spirit will remain dormant. Having the spirit of leadership means that you under stand and demonstrate the mind-set of a leader. Even though you are naturally a leader, there are some things that you need to discover and develop in order to operate as a leader. You have to choose to fulfill your leadership nature.
