- "Rage Against Which Machine?" is a studyldirect action group, which asks: "Who's the enemy, anyway?" We question the effectiveness of the present coalition of activists marching against economic globalization (which we applaud and support, in principle). We find that there is a lack of focus on just who is the enemy. It is variously described as: "the machine", "military industrial complex", "World Trade Organization", "International Monetary Fund", "World Bank", "the corporations", "oligarchs of the business world", "biz boys", "one world gov't", "international bankers", "capitalist imperialists", "corpo estate" or "money and trade". The problem with these entities is that they are diffused throughout 180+ nations of the world. THlS FACT LEADS MANY POTENTIAL ACTIVISTS TO DESPAIR THAT THE PROBLEM - IS TOO BIG TO SOLVE. SO WHY TRY? OLD SCHOOL The faulty logic of past activists holds that these entities operate autonomously and must be attacked at their points of manifestation (the many and varied oppressions everywhere). This strategy diffused the attention and energies of activists. Why repeat the past? The goals of the '60's movements were not realized. The evidence IS our present struggle on so many fronts. Why? Where was the failure? It was due to the lack of unity among all of the activist organizations and to the lack of a unified focus of attention on a universal causal agent for all of the symptoms of globalization. To address this lack only a small portion of your attention need be diverted from your specific interest. extermination, ecological damage, child labor, sweatshops, drug-dumping, anti-democratic movements and many more--have one thing in common: money. They are the symptoms of the manipulation of credit and money. The source of this credit and money (universal causal agent of globalization) is THE CENTRAL BANK. Actually, three central banks. Federal Reserve, Bank of England, and the Swiss' "Bank of lnternational Settlements", cooperating as one, control the economic world. These banks are privately owned by a relative handfut of bankers. Due to this concentration of wealth and power, we are provided a tight focus which, if acted upon effectively (unified) will, we belleve, accelerate the desired outcomes of all of our various movements against the many symptoms of this control. - DIRECT ACTION The traditional means of exerting public pressure on institutions will continue to be used and will help, because secrecy is an ally for crimtnals. In addition, as Americans, we m n focus direct action on the FED, our - central bank, which, via it's collectors-the LRS, lives off of our income taxes and uses our money to fund the aforementioned horrors. Un-volunteeringfor the income tax, legally and safely, by many activists and armchair-activist supporters would put the fear of the people in the bankers' hearts and would cause radical changes (5 million have done so already). As a bonus, this direct action, which in no way can be called civil disobedience because it is an - option within the IRS code, would resolve our unintended hypocrisy of paying for our own and others' oppression world-wide. The ultimate goal is the elimination of the FED and restoration of Congress' power to create money. GET EDUCATED This ~deamay appear to be impossible but don't blame yourself for not thinking outside the box. Our gov't schools, the media, and leaders have carefully hidden the real nature of money and credit, and it has taken years of scholarly research on both the central banks and the incometax, by many f~eedomfighters, to bring this to light (plus, thanks to the mternet). Liberal progressive activists must try to keep an open mindwhen examining-the links below because the research has been done by hbertarian and conservative activists. They have their own reasons for protesting the status quo, which may not coincide with yours. Nevertheless, the information is valuable to the liberal movement for it's own purpose and should be taken advantage of, rather than "reinventing the wheel". This level of mutual resource sharing will require a high state of consciousness,which, due to fear andhate, has not been achreved in the past.
