Chapter 2 2 The Believer: A Wheel Within A Wheel AND he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised? But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof En-hakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day. Judges 15:18,19 iredness, weariness, and discouragement are deadly enemies to the believer and the local church. Samson had no strength left after defeating the Philistines. Warfare takes a lot of energy. After calling to the Lord, water was released. After he drank, he was revived. The Bible says, "his spirit came again." T Samson was an individual army. He represents the strength of an individual anointed by God. Although we are part of a corporate body, we are individual believers. I call an individual believer, a wheel within a wheel. They are an individual wheel within the corporate wheel of the Church. Each believer needs to move individually. One cannot depend totally upon the movement of the corporate wheel.
