Prepare-for-War

Weights placed on our spirits by Satan and his demons usu ally result in depression and exhaustion. Burdens by the Lord direct us into some form of action, such as prayer, which is productive. However, if you resist a burden placed in your heart and spirit by the Lord, you will become mis erable and will eventually quench the Holy Spirit and open a doorway for satanic oppression. How often this happens when Christians steadily refuse the Holy Spirit's gentle urging for them to get up early in the mornings to read the Bible and pray! Often, the Lord will communicate with you directly in thought form. The Lord says something to your spirit and then suddenly it is flashed into your mind in the form of a thought. This is one reason why it is so important to scruti nize our thoughts and ask the Lord to keep our minds and hearts pure.

"I !Jesus) have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you." John 16:12-14 "Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them." Hebrews 10:15-16

The Holy Spirit will put thoughts into our minds, that is how He speaks to us and is a witness to us. Sometimes the Lord will instantly place a whole concept into our minds. I can only describe it as if the Holy Spirit places a whole para graph or page of information into my mind at once. Some times I have to ask Him to slow down because I can't think that fast. Sometimes it is just one sentence at a time in a conversational form. Rarely is it an emotion because we can be too easily deceived by emotions and can become too
