them that love God, to them who are the called accord ing to his purpose." Romans 8:28

Please let me remind you that "good" often means one thing to God and another to us. Look at the following scrip ture for example:

"Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing ofJesus Christ ... Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls." I Peter 1:6-9

Does that sound like all things working together for "good" to you? Well, it does to God, and that's what counts.

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit' shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galatians 6:7-9

Please note, no exceptions are made here for Christians. If you have been living in sexual sin, for instance, then you will reap corruption (illness) in your flesh. God's law is absolute, there is no escaping it. But, in due season, if we submit ourselves under the hand of God and are willing to serve Him regardless of our circumstances, we shall reap an eternal reward "if we faint not." How often we want to "faint." Instead of giving up, we should:

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16

Instead of crying out to the Lord to remove all our troubles, we should ask Him to remove those which He wants to remove and to give us an extra measure of grace to bear the rest. Since I learned this principle, how many
