one night and threatened her life. The sleeping rooms for the doctors on call were quite isolated. The call·room doors could be locked from the inside, but could not be locked while the occupant was out of the room. Rebecca had been instructed by the Holy Spirit to leave tiny pieces of paper or thread at either the top of the door or at the bottom so that she could tell if anyone had opened the door in her absence. Many nights she could not return to her call-room because David or someone else was waiting for her in the room. She spent the rest of those nights sitting up in the doctor's lounge instead. Sometimes Rebecca had a chuckle, however, as she realized that the satanists were getting almost as frustrated as she was. They could not understand why they were so unsuccessful. A few had come and openly asked her what power she had that they did not. Those accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and left Satanism. Rebecca rejoiced as she knew that not only did her very life depend upon her continued obedience to the Lord, but that as He kept her safe through all the attacks, others were led to receive Jesus as their Savior. Often Rebecca had cried out to the Lord for relief, but none came. Over and over again the Holy Spirit brought the scrip ture to her mind in Ephesians 6:
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers or the darkness or this world, against spiritual wicked· ness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Ephesians 6:12-13
That was the only answer the Lord gave Rebecca in the situation. He had kept them safe through the Easter Black Mass, but other than that, there seemed to be no let up in the battle. A couple of weeks after the incidence with the Pavulon,
