the demons still returned to try to rape her, suddenly throwing her down onto the floor. Once she had asked the Lord to sever between her soul and spirit, she could no longer "see" the demons. And, since they no longer had legal ground in her life, they had to leave when she rebuked them in the name of Jesus. They were no longer successful in their attempts to rape Kerry, and, over a period of several months as she stood firm in the Lord, the battle lessened. After a year or so, she was no longer bothered with those particular attacks. This is an area which is greatly misunderstood amongst Christians. I hear from many people coming out of the occult who are sexually tormented following their conver sion to Jesus Christ. They cannot talk about the problem with anyone because most Christians think they are "crazy." The key is always the severing of the link between the soul and spirit and asking the Lord to completely cleanse the spirit. However, the battle doesn't stop there, usually. Those of you reading this book who have been involved in the occult, remember, you reap what you sow. If you have been involved in all sorts of sexual relationships in the occult, you will be attacked in this area. But, you must stand firm and continually rebuke the demons in Jesus' name. You must rebuke them out loud as they cannot read your mind. You may have to rebuke them more than once. Be sure to anoint your home and clean it out. Be sure you do not have any occultic articles left in your home. Stand firm in Jesus, the battle will be difficult, but you will have the victory if you persist. Hatred There is a major area regarding our spirits that has a terrible impact upon many people. This is the fact that, whenever he has the chance, Satan will use a person's spirit body with out his awareness.
