the famous Capuchin monk, Father Pio, of Italy. He was well known for the "stigmata" of bleeding wounds in his hands and feet which supposedly were the same as the wounds of Christ. This ability to bilocate is also claimed by the present day mystic known as "The Trumpeter." This Catholic layman is currently traveling across the U.S. giving lectures and prophecies to groups within Catholic parishes. We as Christians need to have a good understanding of this phenomenon so that we can help these people. Please let me say that I am not an expert, these are very deep and dif ficult areas. I am learning continuously, and expect to always keep on learning. I am presenting to you concepts as the Lord has taught them to me, and as I have experienced them in the seven years I have worked with people coming out of deep occult bondage. I have had some people ask me about the scripture in James which says: "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." James 2:26 I am in complete agreement with this. When the spirit is finally completely severed from the body, the body does indeed die. However, in the scriptures quoted previously in this chapter, I believe that the Lord is showing us that the spirit can be temporarily separated from the physical body without death. In light of the many references in the Bible to the soul departing at death, r believe that at the time of death, the soul joins with the spirit forever and departs the physical body. The final separation does not occur until the link between \he body and spirit is severed. This link is described by many people who experience astral projection as a "silver cord." Shirley MacLaine makes reference to this silver cord in her book Out On A Limb, and demonstrated it very well in the TV mini-series by the same name which was aired on January 18 & 19, 1987.
