Prepare-for-War

I consider this practice a dangerous one for two reasons. First, as I said above, any satanist can repeat or read a pro fession of faith. Secondly, any unsaved person can do the same. If a person cannot, without any prompting, state clearly why he believes he is saved, then he probably doesn't understand the concept well enough to be saved in the first place. Jesus said that if we are ashamed of Him before men that He would be ashamed of us before His Father. Anyone wanting to become a church member should be able to clearly state his faith, in his own words, before the congregation. If he cannot do this small thing before other Christians, how can he ever stand against our enemy or witness to the lost world? "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." I Peter 5:8 Let us prayerfully and humbly follow Peter's good advice.
