Prepare-for-War

living God: as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing: and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you. and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." II Corinthians 6:14-18

YOU, personally, may not believe the wafer is Jesus, BUT you are, by continuing to receive the Roman Catholic communion, participating in an idolatrous practice. You are participating in the communion as defined by the Roman Catholic church which clearly states that the communion wafer IS God. As long as you remain under their spiritual authority and continue to practice their rituals and ceremonies, you are NOT separating yourself from the "unclean thing." Does this mean that you are unsaved? No. The conditions of salvation are that you believe and accept and testify to Jesus Christ being your God and Savior. However, God's word is quick to caution you that if you remain in a situation of defilement that you will in the end be destroyed. Participating in ANY form of idolatry DOES defile you, the temple of God. Now let's look at a second big issue in Roman Catholicism, the prayers to dead people. "If anyone says that it is a deception to celebrate masses in honor of the saints and in order to obtain their intercession with God, as the Church intends, let him be anathema." (Council of Trent, p. 149, Canon 5) The Council of Trent made the following comment regarding masses to dead people: "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." I Corinthians 3:16-17
