Prepare-for-War

stating that the little wafer used in the communion (or mass), and the wine, are Jesus and contain His "whole divinity." (See Figure 1.) Now we are told in the Bible that Jesus is currently seated at the right hand of God the Father. We are also told that He is very God and as such has the very nature of God and is infinite and omnipresent. He cannot be limited to a tiny wafer and most certainly not to something made with human hands. Lastly, we are strictly forbidden from worshiping any image or idol, or from bowing down to one. Canon 6 states that the Catholic people are to worship and adore the wafer and bow down to it. They also bear it about in procession, and everyone bows down to it and worships that wafer which is now their "Jesus."

''Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God . . ." Exodus 20:4-5 "And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands." Jeremiah 1:16

Not only are the Catholics making an "image" which is the wafer, then proclaiming that image to be Jesus, but they are also bowing down and worshiping the wafer. This entire practice is forbidden by God. Now any time a person worships an idol such as the Catholic wafer, he/she is actually worshiping a demon or Satan. Here is the scripture which tells us this:

"What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils." I Corinthians 10:19-20
