The witch on the receiving end will just think she has come up against another witch more powerful than she. Also, I have heard pastors and "Christians'' actually pray in the following manner. "I release spirits of confusion and torment upon this person until he turns to the Lord." Again, the only spirits of confusion, torment, etc., are demons. I cannot find any scriptural justification for a Christian sending a demon onto anyone under any circumstances. We must be careful that we don'tjust blindly follow any teachings we hear, or we ourselves will fall into the trap of practicing witchcraft. Another trap for Christians is in the area of visualization. Practices of visualization can open the doorway to the spirit world and contact with demons. The Christian may be com pletely unaware of what is happening and think that he is operating in the Holy Spirit when, in fact, he is commu nicating with an unholy spirit. Please see Chapter 16 for more detail about this problem. New Age Doorways As mentioned above, many of the health food stores are ac tually fronts for Hindu gurus. Much of the New Age Hindu teachings are presented as "scientific." Diet is a large part of this movement - especially vegetarianism. I have seen a number of people trapped in demonic bondage through fre quenting various "herbalists" and health food stores and maintaining a rigid vegetarian diet as prescribed in various magazines and books containing New Age teachings. Yoga is an often overlooked doorway. As I explained in Chapter 13, the purpose of yoga is to "link" or "yoke" with the Hindu god Brahman. Yoga is not just physical exercise.
