Prayers That Bring Healing

Jesus always responded to people who put a demand on Him through their hunger for the things of God. He never turned them away empty. As I travel, ministering the Word of God, I discern different levels of spiritual hunger in different areas. Some people will press to hear the Word. They will draw the revelation right out of you. You will teach in a higher level of anointing because of the hunger of the people. I don't want to teach people who are not hungry for the Word. In some places, people will just sit there and look at you. They really don't want anything from God. There is no hunger, no press. If they had to come early to get a seat, you would not see them. The spiritual principle we are sharing in this book is what I call the law of supply and demand. Where there is no demand, there is no supply. Apathetic, passive Christians don't receive much from the gifts of God. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. —Acts 13:44 Not only can individuals put a demand on the anointing, but entire cities can as well. This verse excites me because of the possibility of entire cities desiring to hear the Word of God. I believe in these last days the Lord will cause a hunger in cities to hear the Word. When ministry
