Chapter 3 Honoring Those Who Come To Heal

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. —Matthew 10:41, KJV Honor means "value, esteem, precious." To honor a man or woman of God means to value and to esteem them. We must recognize that the anointing is a precious thing. It is priceless. You cannot buy the anointing. It is given by the grace of God. We must learn to honor ministry gifts. When you dishonor ministry gifts, you will not be blessed by the anointing that is in them. In other words, if you do not honor the gift of healing, you will not be healed. Assuredly, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own country. But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land; but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a woman
