Prayers That Bring Healing

why He had no problem breaking man-made religious laws and stale traditions to see to it that people were healed. He had great compassion on the people who came to Him to be healed. In Matthew 9:36, the Bible says that “when [Jesus] saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.” Jesus cares very deeply that you are hurting and suffering. He doesn’t want that for you. That is why He made a way for every sickness, ailment, illness, dysfunction, and disease to be healed and for you to be made whole. When Jesus walked the earth, there was nothing that Jesus didn’t heal. When He left, He sent the Holy Spirit, who works in us to have the full extent of salvation that Jesus paid for on the cross. So just know that what was good for the people then is good for us now, because Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb. 13:8). God does not change (Mai. 3:6). There is no shadow of turning with Him (James 1:17). Because of God’s faithfulness we can trust that if He healed then, He will heal today. Matthew 4:23 says, “Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people” (emphasis added). Jesus healed every disease or sickness people came to Him with—no exceptions. There was nothing too hard for Him.
