Prayers That Activate Blessings

The Lord my God I will serve, and His voice I will obey (Josh. 24:24). I will not fear the gods of the Amorites, for You are the Lord my God in whose land I dwell (Judg. 6:10). Let me continue to fear, serve, and obey the Lord, so that the political leaders who rule over me will also follow God (1 Sam. 12:14). Let me not be like King Saul, who transgressed against the commandment of the Lord and feared people more than God and obeyed their voice (1 Sam. 15:24). Like Judah, Lord, I pray that You will give me the singleness of heart to obey the command of my national rulers, according to Your word (2 Chron. 30:12). Like Esther, I pray that I will obey the commands of the spiritual authorities in my life (Esther 2:20). I return to You, Lord, and I know that You will not cause Your anger to fall on me, for You are merciful and will not remain angry forever. I acknowledge my iniquity and my transgressions. I have not obeyed You (Jer. 3:12-13). I will obey Your voice and You will be my God, and I will walk in all the ways You have commanded me, that it may be well with me (Jer. 7:23). I will obey and incline my ear to the Lord my God. I will not follow the counsels and dictates of my evil heart (Jer. 7:24).
