The eagle's wings that were plucked from the lion could very well represent America. If this is correct, then it was the Almighty who plucked the eagle's wings and formed a new nation that was certain to become a major end time Gentile power. Who are the Other Three Beasts? If the Lion represents Britain and the eagle's wings represent America, then what about the other three beasts? Today the bear is Russia's emblem. In Daniel's vision, the bear lies on one side and has three ribs in its mouth. Russia is known for its spread of Communism. The three ribs could represent the three main Communist leaders, Marx, Lenin and Stalin. The bear "devours much flesh."
