Clipping the Wings of the Eagle

A special Scripture was marked in that Bible which reads:

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14) At a time when Americans are focusing on the global economy, the power of the Internet, and Wall Street, we must be faithful to pray for wisdom and favor for our national leaders and to seek an understanding of America's prophetic destiny. The birthing of this Republic was not mere chance. God, who sits in the heavens, had a sovereign plan. Right now, standing at the four corners of the throne of God are four living creatures. One has the face of an eagle (Revelation 4:7). I want to focus on the eagle in more detail, and look at God's plan to raise this nation. In the process, we will gain insight into the role of America in end-time Biblical prophecy.
