13 CURSED IN THE MIDST OF PROSPERITY

Seven Curses Affecting America

"But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee." (Deuteronomy 28:15) Power, position, and prestige can lead to pride. It is easy for national leaders (including ministers) to become legends in their own minds and claim responsibility for the nation's spiritual or financial blessings. Both political wings have laid claim to the idea that prosperity resulted from their leadership. Certainly good leadership can promote a stable economy and prosperity, but few men in leadership realize what tomorrow will bring. Is it possible to be cursed in the midst of prosperity?
