Hebrew Patterns in America and the Nation's Capital

The Furniture

The special substance that set it apart

— Water was the main substance — Oil was the main substance

—the brass laver —the menorah —the table of shewbread —the golden altar —the Ark of the Covenant

— Wheat and grains were the main substances — Coals and spices were the main substances — Gold was the chief substance

The tabernacle visibly represented the Heavenly Temple, where the Almighty is worshiped. The earthly tabernacle was where the Lord visited His people and spoke directly to Moses and Aaron. Each piece of furniture had a specific spiritual function. Just as the man-made tabernacle provided a dwelling place for the Lord, America was to be a new spiritual tabernacle that welcomed the Holy Scriptures and the Presence of the Lord. The Almighty would have freedom to perform His will through and in His new vineyard! The Tabernacle in America Another remarkable pattern appears when we superimpose a diagram of the tabernacle over a map of the United States. The tabernacle was rectangular with the furniture positioned at precise, predesignated locations. To begin, draw a rectangular box around a map of America. Then reproduce a diagram of the tabernacle within the rectangle. Be sure to place each, piece of furniture precisely. You will see that the places on the American map that lie beneath each piece of furniture have a similar spiritual significance. The only entrance to the tabernacle was on the east. When the colonists came across the Atlantic, they landed on America's eastern coast and began building. So, in a similar way, America's historic entrance is on the east. If we place each piece of furniture on the map in the same position as it was in the wilderness tabernacle, we find an amazing pattern that occurs only in America. It will not happen with any other nation on earth! Each piece of Tabernacle furniture with a specific purpose and substance correlates to the area of America beneath it (See fig. D).
