ministry has been through six buildings over the past fifteen years. We have grown from one room in a small apartment to a new 25,000-square-foot ministry center. Each time we ran out of room I would go out looking for another place. I would always become frustrated, unable to find what we needed. When I released my plans and turned them over to God, within a few days the unexpected always happened and we found the perfect place. If Ruth and Naomi had not come to Bethlehem at harvesttime , they would have missed every blessing in the present and would not have fulfilled their destiny. If Ruth’s destiny had not been fulfilled, God’s perfect plan for Israel’s future would have been interrupted. 6. Obedience releases the blessing. Obedience is simply doing the Word of God . James said, “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:26). We would say, “Faith without corresponding action is dead.” Your actions should correspond with what you believe. Jesus often required action before He actually healed a person. He would say, “Go show yourself to the priest,” or “Rise, take up your bed and walk,” or “Stretch forth thy hand.” When we act upon what we believe, it is visible evidence that we actually believe. When a group of men tore off a roof and lowered a paralyzed man into the living room of a house where Jesus ministered, the Bible says, “Jesus saw their faith” (Matt. 9:2, emphasis added). God
