• “Plant a seed and get a harvest.” • “It is not a seed until you release it out of your hand.” • “Your level of giving will produce the level of harvest.” • “The greater the seed, the greater the harvest.”

The above statements are true if you are giving out of obedience with a pure heart and the right motive. If, however, you are giving an offering or a tithe with unforgiveness, strife, and bitterness toward God or people, and are sowing with the wrong motive, you cannot expect a true return on your investment of giving. Jesus said it this way:

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. —M ATTHEW 6:33
