Why is it important to obtain favor with God and with man? Look how many men (and women) you must encounter in a twenty-fourhour period. Your boss, your coworkers, people you must meet with regarding contracts and business arrangements, meetings to arrange setting up conventions and appointments. Your entire life revolves around dealing with people. God uses “men” to “give into your bosom” (Luke 6:38, KJV ). Therefore, favor with God and man is important. Favor can help land you the deal. Favor can cause you to get the best price, bring the best contract your way, and open the door you need to see the works of your hand blessed! The Bible is filled with promises of favor for the believer. For You, O L ORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. —P SALM 5:12
