I have messianic friends who only pray using the Hebrew name Yeshua . I know of many colleges whose students and teachers pray in the name of Jesus. The fact is, heaven is very familiar with all of the world’s languages, as it was God who distributed the languages at the tower of Babel (Gen. 11). The Almighty is very familiar with various translations and transliterations of the Bible and the name of Christ. I suggest that a person must follow his or her individual conscience concerning this issue. It is obvious that the biblical Sabbath is Saturday; however, the seventh day in our culture has become Sunday. Thus if a person feels he must worship on Saturday, there is no biblical restraint in doing so. However, Paul was meeting and receiving offerings on the “first day of the week,” which was Sunday (Acts 20:7, 18; 1 Cor. 16:2). In the Book of Acts, the Gentile believers were being persecuted in the synagogues and expelled from sites because of their faith in Christ. It became difficult for the Gentiles to worship with the Jews because of arguments and persecution, thus Sunday became the traditional Christian day of worship. Never place more confidence on a day or a feast than in the blood of Christ. It is Christ’s redemptive work that is the primary message to preach and proclaim—not arguing about which day is the right day. God knows His Son, knows your heart, knows your level of understanding, and, whether we use the English name or the Hebrew name, the fact is that His name is worshiped in both
