revivals, hundreds came to Christ, and many of the conversions were a result of a believing family member bringing something that belonged to the unsaved loved one, having it prayed over, then taking it back home. Everyone was amazed at how the Lord was performing special miracles of salvation through the same method Paul used centuries ago. The inspiration to pray over items and return them to the sinner without their knowledge of the prayer came to me after reading the story of Paul and the handkerchiefs and aprons. I was so burdened because people were inviting loved ones to the revival, but they refused to attend. I read the verses in Acts 19:11–12 and thought, “If they won’t come to us, then we will take what’s happening to them!” We began by requesting that families place a photograph of unsaved family members in a large box. Each day for hours intercessors would hold up the pictures and “send the word of conviction” to the person whose picture they held, demanding that the adversary’s influence be broken over the sinner. Within days these individuals began attending the revival with their loved ones, and many received Christ. In one revival there were more than five hundred unconverted souls who came to Christ. One woman said, “I want to pray over my husband’s shoes. I believe that when he wears them, God will begin to convict him of sin!” We prayed that when he wore them, God would watch over the prayer and perform
