with joy and with the Holy Spirit” (Acts 13:52). Paul wrote that the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but “righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Rom. 14:17). If all we have are religious forms, rituals, and routines, then we have a form of godliness and deny the power; Paul said we must turn away from such a religion that denies the power of God (2 Tim. 3:5). Compare the congregations of those who accept the anointing and the power and those who teach against it. Which group appears to have more peace, joy and enjoyment in their fellowship? One encourages you to believe for the impossible, and the other teaches you to accept the impossible! One group teaches with God nothing is impossible, while some in the other group imply that with God nothing is possible to change the impossible! The spirit of the “no miracles and healing today” teaching, proclaiming the miraculous gifts and manifestations of God have ceased, is contrary to the spirit of the entire Bible . Both Old and New Testaments reveal God as a Savior, healer, and deliverer! Why would God reveal His power for four thousand years and then retire His manifestations after the death of John, the last apostle? Look at the Greek word for “save.” When I say, “I am saved,” you simply think, “He is saying he is forgiven of sins and has eternal life.” Did you know the Greek word save is sodzo, and it has a much broader meaning than just forgiven of sins?
