Opening the Gates of Heaven Perry Stone

to discover a great illumination. God has countless ministering spirits to minister for those who will (in the future) inherit salvation. In Acts 10, an angel came to the Roman centurion Cornelius and later appeared to Simon Peter in Joppa, linking the two men together—one Jew and one Gentile—and the rest is history! Cornelius was the first Gentile to be grafted into the new covenant, and the angel of the Lord set up the entire meeting. Angels can lead a person in the right direction and connect your unsaved child with the right person, or even prevent your child from meeting someone who would be detrimental to your child’s future. Angels are released through prayer. When Peter was arrested and Herod planned to behead the apostle after Passover, the church prayed nonstop. An angel of the Lord went into the inner prison, removed the chains, opened the gates, and sent Peter on his way to the prayer meeting where they were praying for his release (Acts 12:5–12). When Peter knocked on the door, the prayer warriors did not believe it was Peter.

But they said to her, “You are beside yourself!” Yet she kept insisting that it was so. So they said, “It is his angel.” Now Peter continued knocking; and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished. —A CTS 12:15–16
