Any trouble with rebellious children must be because you are not disciplining them correctly. The personal trouble in your life is allegedly a result of some door you opened to the adversary. These incorrect super spiritual commentaries on the explanation for your trouble remind me of Job when he lost his health, wealth, and family (Job 1; 2). Three friends came to reveal the reasons for Job’s numerous disasters, explaining that the door of trouble was opened because he had sinned, because of pride, and because God wanted to bring him down a notch and teach him a lesson. All three opinions of these friends were wrong according to God Himself (Job 42:8). One of the best scriptures explains all of these negative things that happen to good people. It was written by Solomon in Ecclesiastes 9:11–12: I returned and saw under the sun that—
