Moving in the Apostolic
from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God" (Acts 2:7-11). Present here were people from all over the known world. Jerusalem was an international city, and the apostles were receiving an international anointing. Pentecost cannot be limited to any one place. This anointing takes the limits off the Church. It gives us the power and ability to impact all people and nations. It is not by accident that the Pentecostal outpouring of the twentieth century began in America. I believe the American church has a responsibility to touch the nations of the earth. Just as America's government cannot limit itself to a domestic policy, but must also have a strong foreign policy, so it is with the Church in America. Every church must have a foreign policy. America cannot excuse itself from the affairs of the world. Neither can the American Church. "To whom much is given, from him much will be required" (Luke 12:48).
A POSTOLIC MINISTRY OPERATES AT A RANK HIGH ENOUGH TO SPEAK ON BEHALF OF HEAVEN .
The Lord is raising up spiritual diplomats to execute an end times foreign policy. He is releasing divine strategies to the Church for the end times. These diplomats are receiving their commission from heaven and are going forth with full authority and power as ambassadors of Christ. This is one of the definitions of the apostle: an "ambassador of Christ." An ambassador is a diplomatic official of the highest rank, sent by a sovereign or state to another as its resident representative. Notice the definition for ambassador includes the "highest rank"; because of this rank, ambassadors have the authority to speak on behalf of the government that sent them. This is why apostolic anointing is so important for this hour. Apostolic ministry operates at a rank that is high enough to speak on behalf
